How do I log into my library account?

Click the login button on the upper right of the catalog screen.

Your user name is your student email, without the @smusd.org. Your password is your birth date: YYYYMMDD. 

Click on "My Info" on the upper left to see what books and textbooks you have checked out.

Use the Resource Lists to find great books in the SEMS Library, too!

The SEMS Library posts on Instagram under "libraryatsems."
Unless students appear only in the background of our posts, we show students the image(s) before posting and ask if they are comfortable with the image being shared. Please speak to your child if you do not want their photo on social media.

In addition, we regularly collaborate with teachers on several projects where student work is posted online, for example in blogs or digital magazines. In those cases, students use first names and last initials only. Please reinforce our lessons about digital citizenship and speak to your child about sharing images of themselves, family, or friends online.
