On behalf of the entire San Elijo Middle School PTO, welcome to the 2022/23 school year.

The mission of SEMS PTO is to promote open communication and understanding between the parents and staff at San Elijo Middle School.  Our efforts serve to enhance and maximize the education experience of every student while aiding them in achieving their highest potential. SEMS PTO values our community and school diversity, we advocate for our students’ interests and their wellness and partner with SEMS administration to foster a safe, positive climate for students to learn and grow.  SEMS PTO supports teachers in the school and classroom setting by providing and paying for supplemental resources and tools like Chromebooks, PE equipment, library books, and supplies.  This has been accomplished by holding a limited number of fundraisers (Fund the Nest and the Color Battle), and through the generous support and contributions of our families and our community.

As we begin to get back to normal this 2021-22 school year, SEMS PTO is committed to maintaining the same level of support for our students, teachers, parents, and staff we have provided pre-Covid-19, so we ask for your financial support in any way that you can help. Your Involvement

We are a diverse group of parents, teachers and community members excited about the future of our students at San Elijo Middle School. Join us and help make a difference in hundreds of lives—including the ones closest to your heart. At this stage in your child's life, it is more important than ever to stay involved in their education.  Joining the PTO makes this job a little easier.  The PTO provides an excellent opportunity for parents to meet one another, get to know the school and its staff, and support each other’s common goals. Plus, we have a lot of fun in the process! 

SEMS PTO needs YOUR unique talents, whether it’s volunteering a few hours a month or a few hours a year, serving on the Board, sharing your ideas, planning, or participating in events… Come join us! 

San Elijo Middle School PTO does not charge a membership fee and all SEMS parents, guardians and teachers are members of the PTO.  The PTO meets monthly, and all SEMS families and teachers are invited to attend our meetings.  Please visit the PTO Meetings page for exact dates and meeting location.
